Main Verse: Ephesians 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
As I read this set of verses, I know that one thing that I can do as a believer in Jesus, as one who has fully trusted Christ with my life, is to turn to God in every situation, because He is able and has the ability and the power to work in us, and to be strengthened by His might and His power, in order to, go through life and go through the circumstances that we face on a day to day basis.
FIRST, I encourage you to do is to trust God, because he can strengthen you, so that you can stand in faith. It takes faith in our walk with God, in order to believe Him. And in order to go through and overcome what we face in this life, we should be encouraged that we can trust Him to help us in our time of need.
The SECOND point I want to make is that with this Scripture, we must allow this Scripture to help us understand that we can trust God's ability. Now, we are invited to ask for more, ask God to expand our territory in every aspect of our life. And to know that he is ready to give us more supernaturally, because He has the ability, and He is waiting for the one that will turn to Him, that will trust Him for more faith and that will ask as we as we expect Him to expand our territory. When we stand in faith and trust God for what we asked for this truly does bring God glory.
And in the last couple of verses, "Now to Him who was able to do far more abundantly than all we can ask or think according to the power at work within us, to Him be all glory, in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever and ever. Amen."
I pray that as you continue on as fast as you continue with these devotions, and trusting God with Whatever you're believing for, you will know that God is completely able, God is more than able. God is faithful to those who put faith in Him. God is truly the answer for everything that you are searching for, for everything that you are asking God for. And as you believe Him and as you trust God and put faith in Him - meet that with expectation, pair expectation with your faith and trust that God is going to fulfill what His Word has promised. When He sends His word out. It does not return void, but it goes forth and it accomplishes everything that it sets out to do. To that God be all glory, and may he get all the glory out of our lives. The one God that is able and capable of making happen what we are trusting Him for - may He get all the glory out of our lives.
God is more than able. May He get all the glory!
