Main Verse: 1 Chronicles 4:10 Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked. ESV I have two takeaways from this particular reading from Jabez. Point One: Jabez had faith enough to trust God that he would expand his territory or his sphere of influence when he asked God to enlarge his territory. During this fast, we want to make sure we're asking God to do the same for ICON church. Point Two: Jabez also wanted to make sure that he was asking God for something that would bring God glory, not himself. Jabez asked for God to be with him. He wanted God's hand to be with him. God's right hand represents his divine approval. Jabez was wanting approval from God, to make sure what he was asking lined up with what God wanted for him to do in his life. Be Iconic Call To Action: During this fast, your call to action to seek the face of God and ask God to enlarge your territory and the territory of ICON Church. May God give us a breakthrough for our new sanctuary. During this fast, ask God to provide the funds so that we can purchase the church's new home. Pray for favor with the current owners of that land so we get that supernatural discount from God - a God deal! Go and let's be iconic and let's continue to seek the face of God and make an impact in this city, in this state, and around the world.
